Welcome….now on your S2 question. Great rifles…handled one for a week or so. I did end up parting with it with the only concern of support. Blaser does not offer parts or service on the S2 anymore so you’re on your own if something went haywire. Doubtful it would yet accidents happen. I just decided to go with a supported model and purchased a BBF97. Not a huge concern but…..

Glad to have a fellow Blaser owner on board. I see you are from Alberta. Ever heard of Brent Sinclair? He is an outfitter from Alberta. I know it is a big providence but perhaps you have heard of him.

yes I do know of him, does a lot of lion hunts I think 8-)
