Finally I received my F3

Post by Explorer »

Finally I received my F3 here today after a little more than 14 weeks of waiting.

Unfortunately someone has screwed up the order as we agreed on paper that the stock should be a 38/50 and it’s delivered as 40/55 :violence-hammer:

It’s with adjustable stock so I went to the shooting range anyway and it pulverized it’s very first clay on it’s first shoot, so that was a good start

Will add some pics ASAP
Thanks Bjarne

Good deal

Shot one at a sporting clays shoot here.....very nice.At the time they didn't have a 20 ga so I went a different way.

Nice guns....enjoy. ;)

Sounds good, are you refering to the cast and pitch of the stock being wrong?

Bjarne,

Congratulations on your new shotgun :)

Since it is an adjustable stock, how would it matter what you ordered or what came, you can adjust to what you require.

Do post us some pictures of your new acquisition.

When I adjust it to look straight down the rail and just being able to see the bead there’s about a 10mm gap between the main stock and it’s adjustable part and it can only be adjusted to about 13 mm, so I only have 3 mm's of adjustment to work with :?
Thanks Bjarne

Looks like they sent it with nice wood, but I would throw a fit over the fit being wrong. If you want me to do it, I would be glad to, as I have been down right cranky lately.

Dont worry too much about the adjustment at this stage, my friend.

As I see it there is adequate space for adjustment right now.

I would try to develop a consistent mount first. :)

Last night it took 19 out of 20 twice on a sporting range, guess it will never be any better than that and I'll never tell how many times I tried the sporting ;)

It`s much more easy to fit an old body to an excellent gun ...

Yes, that's a nice Shotty.

What is the barrel length? I have heard the 32+" barrels are a handful. Is it the Competition Sporting or Game Competition.....?

19/20 clays straight up suggests a very good fit out of the box. Do you intend to hunt game?
