After Christmas roadtrip, What to do?

Post by SPEEDY »

I'm trying to work out what to after christmas for my planned road trip.
I have from the 18th of December to the 25th of January off and am trying to decide what to do, I already decided to do a road trip and so far I have.

18th-Christmas put aside for family.
26-28th Bathurst shoot Goats and get drunk.
28ish-05jan Charlivile shoot Pigs and drop off a quad bike for a mate from Sydney, another Canadian mate might fly down for the Bathurst part and then drive up with me to Charliville.
05ish-06ish swing back through bollon and check out a mates new gun shop, probably more drinking, well yes more drinking who am I kidding, but maybe a bit more shooting too.
06ish-? do some bass fishing at maroon dam near Brisbane or I might head up and do some Barra fishing just above Bundy, this is where I get stuck bugger.....

I got 20 odd days and don't know what to do, I was thinking fishing then back to bathurst but I don't know, I been there done that, Hmmmm, maybe come back down south for some fishing and chasing a few Sambar in the dry, or I could spend some time whistling foxes as thats prime time.

One things for sure, I have no shortage of options it's narrowing them down thats the hard bit.
I'm soft and I don't care.

Too hot, too wet

Buff hunting ends around late October due to the wet season, so that means there out, worst yet I'm missing out on our buff hunt in late September, so that sux
