Hello there

Post by Sweden »

I just wanted to say hi to everyone as I'm new here. My name is Emil and I come from the southern parts of Sweden. I'm 22 and have been hunting since I was 9. Most of the hunting I'm doing is for roedeer, moose, fox, badger, hare, pigs ans so on. At the moment I'm hunting with a Husqvarna 1900 .308 with a z6i 2-12*50, a remington semiauto shotgun and an old Sauer & sohn SbS.

I have to admit I'm not a blaser owner yet but I've been reading a few times on the forum and it seems like you're having a good time so I join first and get the blaser when I can afford it. My plan was to get a blaser in 9,3x62 plus an extra barrel in 6,5x55. But I found a really nice old mauser the other day in 10,75x68 witch I'm waiting for the licens for the moment so the blaser will have to wait another few months. I just cant decide witch calibers i should get. Feels a little bit overkill to get the 9,3 when I'm allso getting the 10,75. I just have to waint and se what happens.

Cheers Emil

Thank you all!

Is it anyone who have tryed .280Rem in blaser? Offcourse I rather would like a 7x64 (just becuise you should shoot european calibers in european rifles 8-) ) but it's blody hard to get hold of good brass for 7x64 in sweden and Norma makes .280 brass.

I have several hundred new 280 brass. I guess I should order a barrel and try one out. ;)

Emil

Welcome to Blaserbuds.

That is a neat, great, looking rifle. That calibre is a very good one.

Since you already have a 308, and soon the 10.75, the 9,3x62 in a Blaser R 93 would be a great addition.

Also since you are in Europe the 6.5x55 would be a good barrel choice as well.
