Does this pic make me a "snob"

Ok so i post on a few forums. One has to do with the region I live and another the state (NewYork).
So in the small game area of one I post this pic.....
The original question was "how's everyone doing this season". Several other posters had pics from Geese, a few crows, a couple coyotes......and I pitched in with this. So because the gun is with the squirrel I'm a snob. But other guys had pics with their guns(and themselves).
In the other forum I was told," no one posts "8 x 10" glossy pics"......but others have "hero" shots.
To me this is just an average pic of one of the few rifles I own with something I killed with it. In my mind it states that I am just as happy with hunting a squirrel, as anything I take is for me.
What does this pic say to you ?
Am I missing something ?
Its not like there is a Swaro/S+B/etc on top?

Do believe a nasty creature by the name of 'Envy" invaded that site. It's a gun and a squirrel. Simple enough. Nobody has to ask what did you kill it with...unless they're blind and then they'd have all kinds of problems with a computer screen in the first place.
We've been through the "Blaser owners are snobs, elitist etc.", before. I suspect some of our brethren could come across that way while the majority just happens to enjoy owning very nice rifles. Some of us give up fancy cars, big houses, buying lottery tickets, eating fancy meals every day, etc., to invest in something that we derive more pleasure from than those things. I suspect there are millions of women who spend quite a bit more on hair styles and makeup in one year in this country than we spend on a gun and scope rig that is still worth a good percentage of what we paid for it a year or two back. In many cases they are worth more. In the meantime the hair and make up are gone....useless unless they helped snag a fellow with a big checkbook!
Don't think I'd lose any sleep over it. In fact I'd probably post a few more pics, like that same rifle with the scope on it laying on top of a nice New Mexico Mule deer!

Got me to thinking if somebody was good with photoshop they could take the Blaser out and impose an English double, say a 505 or 570 etc.... Or maybe a drilling... If the Blaser bothered them that would give them a litter of kittens!

Not sure, I think you are just experiencing the joys of online hunting forums.

First thing I'd say is damn, you got good eyes, much better than mine with irons
Easy to say don't let it bother you . . . like champ says we scrimp in other areas so we can buy quality equipment, but some jokers absolutely live to get the cheapest deal on earth and then hound everyone else for spending a bit more. More power to 'em.
BTW, nice shot!

What I see is a nice rifle and a nice shot. Who gives a toss what anybody says on an online forum.

Personally I think that pic shows you to be an elitist snob and you should be ashamed

To atone you should (of course) give that rifle to someone more deserving from a disadvantaged part of the world. Me, for example.....
Seriously though, are you kidding me? Someone busted your chops over this picture? Idiots
Nice rifle btw! Makes me think my preference for plastic stocks on a rifle might be misplaced....

Thats pretty funny right there.
Frankly none of it ever bothers me; just found it a bit odd.
I just can't figure out what is offensive about that particular pic ? ....hmmmm.
Hope I get a Muley; just so I can post that too!

I have found that we (Blaser owners) are viewed as "elitist" when we post pictures of our guns on other boards, but I really don't give a rip.
