John Harris
My friend John Harris passed away last night. He was a great guy and I will miss him. I will be writing an article about him in the future as he had led an interesting life.

Re: John Harris
I hate to hear of his passing for the ones he left behind, but he is much better off and out of pain now.

Tony, you and John met up in Alaska a few years ago in a hunting camp that he was cooking at.

I remember him well. I went to Alaska with a bunch of buddies, they were hunting caribou, I had shot 2 last year with my 450/400 3 1/4" double, so I was just in camp with them for 15 days to help them hunt. After they left I stayed and hunted brown bear.
He was a great cook, as a lot of Fireman are. He was also a very nice guy. We hit it off good, I enjoyed his company.
Sadly we did not stay in contact.

Sorry to hear about this, It's very hard when you lose a close freind, because they are far and few between.
