This facebook group will be differant to this forum... There will be no naked women on FB so most wont want to join

I just spent a little time looking at facebook, and have come to a conclusion. Basically it allows people that you have been trying to avoid, keep up to date on what you are doing, without you actually having to have any contact with them. It not only allows for social networking, but antisocial networking as well.

you can set your account to be secure so only your friends can see what you are up too.. Just dont add the people you are trying to avoid as friends

Most of the folks I know that started out as friends are now my enemies.

So now I cut out the middle part by just not having any to start with.....

It's not that bad... I grew up here thinking these folks around me were a bunch of inbreeds and mostly retards. Came back 35 years later and I now KNOW that they're a bunch of inbreeds and retards! Some different blood could have done wonders out here 60-80 years ago. Maybe even 100 years ago sure would have helped. My neighbor and his wife grew up here also. We've joked how we live here but stay away from the locals. Same old gossip, rumors, nosey old goats that been here forever and want to know everything YOU'RE doing. We do our thing, come and go and don't stop till we're at least one city away. Course both of us are lightly armed just incase they do come over the 'fences' so to speak...

Actually the Facebook page is picking up pretty quick. I keep my page private unless I approve somebody as a friend. Used to have it open and decided that wasn't such a good idea.
