A bad bit of news

Well my wife was DX with breast cancer today, I'm pretty upset over it, just thought I'd let all my buds out there know! I would love every prayer you could spare. She is my best friend and the mother of my only child! I feel like my life is being drained from me.

I'll be off and on from time to time

Dear 505Ed,

Our prayers with you and your family.

Modern medicine has come a long long way and many cancers are curable. Even techniques of Chemotherapy have changed substantially. Keep the hope up and the spirits high.

We run a hospital here, so pls dont hesitate to contact me if there is anything you feel we can do.

The cancer took away my dad back in 2002 (tumour on his brain), that was about 20 months with up and down, the last 3 – 4 month before he died I visited my parents every 2 – 3 days which I today am very happy with that I did.

Hope that you’ll find the cure that can take this cancer away, you got my sympathy every day ahead

This morning, we attended the funeral of my hunting buddy's daughter. A nasty brain tumor took away this 33 years old mother of a 5 years old little girl. Sad indeed.

Does anyone know Ed's wife's name? I'll ask my wife to start a prayer chain at church. My 76 year old dad has prostrate cancer, the less agressive form. I'm going to Kansas this December so we can go call coyotes together.

Edited - Sorry I didn't mean to divert attention away from Ed's wife by talking about my dad. I want to stay focused on prayers for her and supporting Ed.

Ed - I do know how you feel as my wife has survived cancer for 12 years. I panic every time she has an unexplained bruise or bump. I’ve prayed a lot over the last 12 years, as I’m praying for you and your wife today.

Ed, I know that feeling: my Mom was diagnosed with the same 24 years ago. And she is still with us! So, it is not the end of the world, just try to give all the best support to your best one! All our prayes are for your wife's fast recovery.

Ed,

My thoughts and prayers are with Audra and you.
My Mother was given the same news 15+ years ago and is doing very well at now age 93.
Please contact a local breast cancer support group and both of you attend. I think you will find the positive input of others with the same burden a great support as well as good outlet for your frustration, anger, and fears and I know all three are very much with both of you at this time.
I will think positive with you.
