Yes, that is rather amazing !

I once witnessed a female blue bull whose fawn was being hounded by two pie dogs attack one using its front legs in a similar fashion and actually reach down and lift the dog by its teeth and swing it away.

And the only thing I had to save that treasured moment was my diary. . . .

That's why I hunt with a gun and not a bow... that was funny poor bugger

On a serious note;an older guy by me was killed by a pen deer.Went in to feed them during the rut,an 8 point ran him through.
