After working and being on call for the last seven days I got out this morning hoping the fallow would still be in rut. This guy was in full noise and holding a small group of does. Not a monster but it was a good stalk and always great fun in the rut so a nice way to blood the K1.

Here is a good one from last year. 7mm-08 Blaser K95 with 150gr ELD-X @2830 fps
Shot at 265 yards off my Spartan Sentinel tripod.

I don't know why, I love the luxus ect but the black action just seems to suit the K95 for some reason.
