Hello

Post by OldR93 »

Hello
New to the forum but a R93 owner since 2005. Currently looking to purchase a 375 H&H barrel for the R93. Have taken it all over the world from Africa to Alaska and it ha performed flawlessly. Such a great piece of engineering I sold most of the other firearms. Surprising that I just found out about blaserbuds

Thank you. It is quite humbling as I look around the man cave. The Blaser has been a valued companion on many an adventure. Always there, never let me down

Welcome to the forum! I am interested to hear what cartridge you used particularly in Alaska and Africa. Also, where in Africa?

Mr. Old93,
375 H&H is not only nostalgic, but a proven round for African game. I took my Cape Buffalo with the 375 H&H on a mountain at 9,000 foot elevation. At the time I did not have my .416 Rigby. I would have rather had it for the Buffalo, but the H&H did the job.
Thanks for sharing information. 2022 is not far away, hopefully there will not be closures to prevent your trip.
