Introduction from Texas
Glad to be a part of the forum. I have been on an African forum for many years and they often refer people to this forum for Blaser information.
Occupation: Hospital Chaplain (10 years), Baptist Pastor (38 years)
Avid Hunter: USA (many states), Africa, Canada, South Africa (multiple trips)
Best Hunt/Trophy: Cape Buffalo
Favorite Caliber: 300 WSM and 375 H&H but looking for 404 Jeffery
Favorite Rifle: Winchester Model 70 Custom built 300 WSM (but interested in new Blaser R8)
Travel: all of South America, all of Central America, many Caribbean islands, Germany, France, England, Italy, Greece, Switzerland, Austria, Hungry, Israel, Jordan, South Africa, (52 countries so far)
I don't claim to be a marksman or even a good shot (getting worse with age) but I love beautiful wood rifles, big bores, and reloading.

Welcome!
What is it with the 404J? Wanting one seems to be a disease here

Re: Introduction from Texas
Welcome, love the straight forward introduction layout, all it needs is bullet points.
But welcome and I hope we can help you out with any information, worse case we might be good for a laugh.

You've been around to put it mildly! Some wonderful memories from all those places. If you don't mind sharing a few pics from some of your hunts we'd like to see them.
Welcome to the board. We have a great group here so you'll like it. Any questions don't hesitate to ask.

I hunt, I shoot, I camp, I fish. They are the great reset buttons in my life.

Re: Introduction from Texas
I have a .404 Jeffery in a Dakota 76 African, I love that cartridge. I used it to take my Cape Buffalo in Africa.
