Glock 17 vs Glock 19 Which Would You Choose ?

Glock 19 for me. I own/use both. I've got a small hand. If I had a big hand then the 17.

19 for me too, I've had two and a 19C and loved em, fit me perfectly.

Glock 19 is ok but Glock 21 or Glock 30 is much better

I think the Glock 19 is more popular for concealed carry compared to the 17. I own both but my everyday carry gun is a 17 because if I am carrying in the open and if so I loose the tactical advantage of concealment, then I want a full size fighting gun. For concealed carry I use a 42 because it is so much easier to conceal but it is much less effective than the 17.

If the question only revolves around 9mm glocks... I'd go the 17.
My favourite is the Glock 20 though...

I own a Glock 17 (Gen 1), two Glock 32s (357 Sig on same mid size frame as the 9mm model 19), and a Glock 33 (357 Sig, on same compact frame as the 9mm model 26). My favorite to shoot is the mid size frame. The one I carry is the compact model 33 (and with a Pearce grip extender on the magazine I can shoot it about as well as my mid-size). I haven't shot the 17 in years; just don't see the point of it. (My favorite 9mm is my full size 1911 Kimber.) Best upgrade you can do for a Glock is better sights. The plastic factory sights suck. I put TruGlo fiber optic/tritium sights on all my 357 Glocks and I LOVE them.

Better for concealed carry and can do anything the 17 can do or get 18

Since I responded to this earlier, I have changed my mind and gone to an even smaller Glock. I am required to carry daily where I work and was considering moving from my 17 to a 19. I shot the qualification course with both and was able to shoot a 250 out of 250 with either but could shoot a slightly faster time with the 17, but not enough to really matter. But then, I tried my 43X that I sometimes use for concealed carry and discovered I could shoot it just as well as the 19 and with shield arms magazines I can carry the same 15 rounds as the 19 with an even smaller and lighter package.

All three guns are excellent, the 17, 19, and 43X but I enjoy carrying the 43X the most.

My view on CC is a 22WMR in your pocket is better then 44mag in your glove box.
But I do love a compact Glock.
