Can someone please crunch the numbers to obtain hypothetical max load and velocity that can be safely obtained using AR 2219 under the 325g Flex Tip in the .45 Blaser?
Cartridge : .45 Blaser
Bullet : .458, 325, Hornady FTX 45015
Useable Case Capaci: 63.423 grain H2O = 4.118 cm³
Cartridge O.A.L. L6: 2.697 inch = 68.50 mm
Barrel Length : 24.0 inch = 609.6 mm
Powder : ADI AR 2219
Charge : 64.0 grains = 4.15 grams
Estimates of the progress of combustion:
NR.: x(in.) Z(%) v(fps) p(psi) t (ms)
79 22.34819 97.00 2489.5 5176 1.1694
Peak Pressure
36 0.68647 35.20 717.7 53563 0.2479

I don't think the hole will be any smaller than the last one!

Borrowed a chrony and have loaded up to 65g to test at Belmont prior to this weeks BGRC shoot - should be interesting to see how they compare to QL figures
After looking at the cases, and the tiny increase in velocity and scattering of holes in the 64.5g target, I decided against testing the batch of 65g loads I had made up. OALs were 69.7mm
The good news for me was my current fallow load, a 400g PP over 54.5g of '07 ran 2096, 2099, 2109, 2093, & 2119 fps - group 2 minimum
