Not something you see everyday

Post by Rod »

Was out shooting sporting clays yesterday when I came across something out of the ordinary.

Sure does 👍 the owner let me and a couple of mates have a few shots. The action is as slick us…felt sort of like one of those Swiss straight pull military rifles.
I’m pretty sure he said it was a “Bane” brand, manufactured in France. I don’t think I’ll ever see too many others around.

I used to see one every day. Because I had one. A darne shotgun, or maybe the less common Charlin.

My honest opinion, don't buy one. They are like french cars.

Yep Darne. Funny thing is that the owner likened it to Citroen 😂

Still very unusual .

I always liked the look of them, but for some reason I just don't like em. It must be the French thing, there's something about French engineering that I never quite like or trust.
I'm soft and I don't care.
