Belting out a lot of Rounds with the BBF97

Post by mchughcb »

Well we had the Australian Big Game Rifle Club Nationa competition held over a few days. I can tell you the guys can shoot. Out a field of 35 the old blaser BBF97 didn't do too badly and in one event against the bolt actions I came 4th, just missing out on a medal

Something to be said about the BBF97 in 9.3x74R, its just a sweet double to shoot. It just drops then rounds nicely. I even managed to pick up a round of the ground that fell out of my blaser wristband and still get my shots in :D

Glad you shot well. I’d have loved to have been there. Anyway I’m off to the Queensland BGR state titles in just under two weeks and really looking forward to it.

That’s bloody good shooting.

Good luck Rod. We had one down from qld, nt, a few excellent shooters from NSW and a couple from SA.

Was a great couple of days.

I'm going to get myself sorted out with some rimfire practice. Once those large rifle primers are gone God knows when the next shipment is.

Looks like a lot of fun Charles. Yep if you didn't buy up in bulk, your in some trouble for primers :handgestures-thumbup:
Measure it, when it’s on the deck

Word on the street is Refisch in Ballarat is selling them, 200 per customer at high prices. I will check next week and I need 2206H.

Comes down to what brand as you might end up needing to go over your load development. But good to now there's some here and there. :handgestures-thumbup:

Scrub all that. I checked their website out and they are all of large rifle primers. The 2206H is available but not in 4kg.
Now hornady factory caught on fire I'd say stock up again.
