9,3x62 subsonic loads

I'm interested in a subsonic load for my 9,3.. Barrel length is 50 cm.
Has anyone had success with such loads?

I was unable to achieve the consistency I required in my 45-70. I bumped up to 1400 fps, and all my problems went away. Subsonic performance on game seems all over the map, with some proclaiming it perfectly satisfactory, while others experience somewhat less positive results. The thread above is for the 9.3x74R, but it should get you started.

I posted this a few years ago. Always be super safe with slowing loads down. Pressure can get dangerous

When I was playing around with this after I busted my neck and wasn't sure how things would turn out. I had a play with trail bross. With my 243, I was using 8gr of trail boss with a 95gr fully lead projectile and was getting around 1080fps. In my 9.3x62 I used 286gr RNSN woodleigh with 19gr of trail boss getting 1080fps. In the 338wm I used a 300gr RNSN woodleigh and used 20gr of trail boss and was getting around 1080fps. You always use a heavier projectile but just watch the pressure’s that's why in load development you should be using a chrony to monitor your speeds.
