Three days back, near the National Park of Ranthambore, a tiger strayed out of the park and came into a nearby village.
The villagers and some forest guards tried to drive the tiger back to the park.
Apparantly they surrounded the Tiger instead of leaving a clear path of retreat for it.
This photographer captured the scene.
The attacked person was badly mauled and is in hospital with no right eye and brain injuries in a serious condition.

I just can't see myself going after a tiger on the loose with just a stick.

Yikes....
Sometimes I think we forget that other folks in the world can have a pretty tough go of it living where they do. It sure is easier to shoo a deer from eating your shrubbery that a tiger eating your goats(or you!).
