What to do with my P320

I have a Sig P320 and have been considering selling it for the past few months but now with the news of the dead Airmen where an M17/P320 was involved. Should I just wait out and see how this shakes out? Has a gun manufacturer ever done a mass recall?
How does that even work? Would Sig provide replacements with another firearm they make?

Good luck with waiting for a recall/buyback. The problem as I see it is that Sig made a Glock-like striker-fired pistol with a very short, light trigger pull. The first time I handled one at a gun store I knew there were going to be lots of "accidental discharges" with the platform.

But I think the P320 is still very popular on the civilian market, and you wouldn't have difficulty selling it.

(I LOVE my SIg P226 and P229 single/double action pistols with a decocking "safety".)

I’m in a different position with my COLT MCX TAC HUNTER. It handles and shoots great…and I have spent a fair mount of time and money upgrading its stock, sourcing a Rugged muzzle device for my suppressor, etc.
I can’t make mine do what the recall is all about.

If you go to the Sig Sauer website you can put your serial number in to see if it requires the recall work.
I have M17 and X-10; neither required the recall work.

I have always favored a light trigger pull but, being familiar with your weapon is also important! I love my P320's!

At the range I frequent here in NC, the 320 is not allowed on the handgun line in both the steel and paper bays. Seems a bit draconian, but, their range, their rules.
