Dont know what the position is now, but Indian TV reports some terrible snow storms in the North East of the United States. Apparently flights are canceled and many travelers stranded.

Usually we get 2 or 3 Nor'easters a year. Most of the time later in winter; Feb. or March. We've actually had it easy until this, as only 3" fell through Dec.

East Coast is a mess for travel; they had gale force winds along much of the coast.
