Can I legally send a rifle scope to Canada.
I tried to decipher the regs and they are confusing.
My take is no but buyer says yes.
Help?
Thanks!

Re: Exporting scope to Canada?
I am well versed in this having done it many times.
To legally export, you and the buyer MUST use an exporter. The only one I am aware of that is currently operating is Boarderview Logistics due to COVID restrictions. The buyer must contact Borderview to begin the transaction. Borderview will send you a request for invoice. Once received, they will send an invoice to the buyer for the purchase price, “pay on your behalf” fee, import fees, etc. Buyer must then pay Borderview , in turn Borderview pays seller. Seller then ships to Borderview, Borderview does the ITAR importing into Canada, then finally ships to the buyer. This is the only legal way of importing rifle scopes or firearms into Canada from the USA.
